Academic Cooperation Offered,UCLan Faculty Visits UOG

To give impetus to human development, it has become imperative to evolve a strategy of shared view of promoting education all over the world. For the purpose, universities in the Europe are becoming more interactive and reaching out to the centers of higher learning in the third world. Pakistan is one of those third world countries which have diverse opportunities for developing social and basic sciences. Accordingly the University of Central Lancashire (UK) offers the University of Gujrat, mutual cooperation in faculty and students development program. This invitation for cooperation was extended by Dr Ken Phillips, Director, Regional Partnership and Strategic Management Group (RPSMG), University of Central Lancashire (UCLan), UK, while addressing the faculty and senior staff members here at Hafiz Hayat Campus on June 26th. The UCLan has the reputation of being the 6th largest and the 7th best university of UK in teaching quality.

Ground Breaking Ceremony of Examination Block at UOG

Gujrat, Ground breaking ceremony was held for the construction of Controller Examinations Block  at Hafiz Hayat Campus, University of Gujrt.  The project is worth Rs. 89.236 million. It is likely to be completed till December 2010. The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Nizamuddin inaugurated the ground breaking ceremony. Communication and Works Department, Punjab Building Department, (North zone) will supervise the work of Ansar Brothers Govt. contractors, who will complete the project.
