Centre For Emerging Technologies
It is a manifestation of UOG's core values which include
providing leadership in our community and region by
stimulating industrial development, and by forming
partnerships and collaborative relationships with
other organizations and businesses.
CET is being established to develop support products
and to provide support solutions to manage internal
and external resources including tangible assets,
financial resources, inventory, payroll, Human
Center for Emerging Technologies(CET)
Resources, and transport at the University of Gujrat.
CET work closely with all the departments to plan,
develop, execute customized software solutions
incorporating emerging technologies that achieve
maximum results and create an efficient environment
within the organization.
Centre for emerging technologies plays a pivotal role
to bridge the technological gap between the University
and industry and to commercialize the university
technologies. It is also in consonance with the vision
and development plans of University of Gujrat to
respond to the industrial development needs.
The main objective of CET is to produce demand based
software development projects in diversified domains
using state-of-the art tools and technologies. Utilizing
the cutting edge technology CET offers a full range of E-
commerce and focused application solutions for the
UOG as well as other higher education institutions and
businesses.

Major Priorities and Initiatives
In the first phase of its operation the CET will automate
the entire HR management system module that is
currently operating manually at UOG.
