Engineering
The programme aims
to impart theoretical and practical know-how in the field of chemical
engineering in order to cope with the challenging advancements being
made in the field of engineering. The graduates of this discipline will
acquire confidence which would enable them to pursue higher studies in
international universities, and they would also be able to participate
actively in the design and process development studies of chemical
plants.

provide the students with quality engineering education, to carry out
basic and applied research, and to provide services to the wider
community. Specifically, the department strives to:

become successful professional chemical engineers capable of undertaking
both life-long and further advanced studies.

practice of engineering.
Carry
out services that support the administration, advancement, governance,
and regulation of engineering education, the engineering profession,
public perception and understanding of technology that leads to an
improvement in the quality of life.
