Objectives
The CPUES will help build UOG’s capacity by:

Conducting empirical research in various disciplines such as Demography,
Sociology, Economics, Business Demography, Environment and Industry;

Developing capacity and skills of young faculty members by engaging them
in research activities, and by enhancing their analytical capacities;
-
Providing its database to national organisations and government
departments to evolve public policy on the basis of findings of
empirical studies; and
-
Establishing UOG’s linkages with other national and international
organisations.
