Teaching Activities

Since the Centre’s aim is to study population from an interdisciplinary perspective, all departments of social sciences are linked with it. Already the CPUES offers a Master of Population Sciences (MPS) programme. It also holds seminars and conferences in the field of population and public policy. It provides hands-on training to students of social sciences, in general, and population sciences, in particular, to facilitate their research work. Following its mandate, the Centre organises training workshops and seminars to provide a platform to the students and faculty to disseminate the findings and results of their research. The Centre also arranges visits by experts from other national and foreign universities to develop skills and capacity of its students and faculty.
