Health Care Centre

A Health Care Centre was established at the premises of Nawaz Sharif Medical College, University of Gujrat in 2009. The prime aim of establishing this facility was to provide primary care/treatment to the students, faculty and staff of University of Gujrat. Health Care Centre contains Reception, Medical Inspection Room, Diagnostic Lab and Detention/Treatment Room.
 

Medical officer examines the patients in Medical Inspection Room and advises treatment accordingly.Diagnostic Lab has the facility to carry out routine investigations helpful in diagnosis.
 

Detention/Treatment room is used to detain and treat the patients as per advice of the Medical officer. The Health Care Centre also provides medicines to the patients accordingly. Patients who need consultation/ treatment from concerned specialists are transferred through University Ambulance to ABS Teaching Hospital where they can get admission if required. In the last academic year, health care centre added a laboratory and ambulance to facilitate the staff and students.
