The University of Gujrat has become central point of exploring
knowledge and projecting spiritual values of Sufism in the area. The
educational work started by the Hafiz Hayat (RA) has been channelized
properly and converted into a movement by its Vice Chancellor. The
creative work being done by the students at the School of Art & Design
and creative works at other department are the national assets.
Architecture and landscaping of the campus is unprecedentedly
beautiful. These views were shared by the Director General Archeology
Punjab Mr. Haroon A. Khan while visiting the Hafiz Hayat Campus today.
Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Mohammad Nizamuddin and the District
Coordination Officer (DCO) Sardar Javed Akram accompanied the DG while
moving around the campus and Hafiz Hayat shrine. They visited School
of Art & Design and witnessed the “Thesis Exhibition” of MFA
students. Sardar Javed Akram while commenting on the development of
the campus remarked that the credit of the development of the academic
and physical infrastructure of the varsity goes to the Vice Chancellor
who worked remarkably. It is up to the people and leadership of Gujrat
to own and promote the cause being projected at the institution.
