Admission Notifications
Admission in the
University of Gujrat (UOG) are to start from 30th of
August 2010. The Registrar of UOG Mr Muhammad Akram Bhatti has
already released the admission schedule for admission to main
campus Hafiz Hayat and the four city campuses of UOG. Admission
to BSc (Hons), BSc Engineering, BBA, B.Com, B.A two year
Associate Degree Programs, MA/MSc, M.Com, MBA, LLB and Diploma
courses has already begun. For these programs Admission forms
can be obtained from Bank of Punjab main branch, Fawara Chowk,
Gujrat City or from Bank of Punjab, Hafiz Hayat Campus branch
with effect from Monday 30th of August 2010.
Candidates for admission to BSc (Hons),
BA, BSc, MA/MSc, MBA, M.Com and Diploma programs can deposit
their forms with in office hours, in the concerned academic
departments and colleges at the latest by Thursday the 16th
of September 2010, whereas for MPhil and MS admission forms can
be submitted, with in office time, at the latest by Tuesday the
12th of October 2010. Admission forms can also be
downloaded from UOG website
www.uog.edu.pk.
Entry tests for
different subjects of BS and MA/MSc will be held on Monday 21st
of September 2010 whereas for MS/MPhil on Monday the 18th
of October 2010, at Hafiz Hayat Campus.
The UOG has launched 2 years Associate
Degree Program, duly approved by HEC, for those students who are
not interested to join 4 year degree program. This 2 year
program offers subjects presently in great demand like Commerce,
Accounting and Finance, Education Library Science, Fine Arts,
Graphic Design, Ceramics, I.T and Paralegal Physical Education.
In colleges this facility is being offered to female students at
Jinnah College Fawara Chowk, Marghazar College and Railway Road
College whereas for male students at G.T.Road College. Students
joining this 2 year Associate Degree Program can after
completion of their study, avail the facility to join and
continue with 4 year Degree Program.
