Admission are Re-Opened "Master in Population Sciences"

 

Population Sciences is an emerging academic discipline which was particularly introduced to address the most sensitive but neglected area of society “Population & Development”. The graduates of this program have a lot of opportunities to serve at national as well as international organizations / institutions e.g., Population Welfare Department, Census Organization, Family Planning Association, National Commission for Human Development, Education & Health Support Programs, Punjab Rural Support Program, National Poverty Elevation Program, Punjab AIDS Control Program, Maternal & Child Health Care Program, Higher Education Institutions and UNFPA, UNICEF, USAID. This program is comprised of various courses which enhance the academic / research skills of students in an integrated manner. The details of courses are available in the university prospectus and also at university web site (www.uog.edu.pk) or can be obtained from undersigned’s office.       

 

Few seats are still available in the MA Population Sciences Program for current academic session 2010-12. Interested candidates are invited to apply for admission ASAP.

 

The pre-requisites of admission are BA, B.Sc., B.com or equivalent with no 3^rd division. The interested candidates can submit their applications along with filled Application Form and other educational certificates in the undersigned’s office not later than 12.10.2010.
