Atle Hetland's Presentation on Norwegian Centre for Language and Social Sciences

 

 

A meeting of senior faculty members of the University of Gujrat (UOG) was held here on Tuesday to discuss the role and scope of The Norwegian Centre for Language and Social Sciences (NCLSS) at the campus. The Project Consultant Mr Atle Hetland was in the chair. The Meeting started with the briefing introduction to the NCLSS by Mustafa Nazir, the Director Press & Publications. Mt Hetland reciprocated the briefing session. Mr Hetland made a detailed presentation on Pakistani Immigrants who have emigrated to Norway and other Scandinavian countries.  The participants of the meeting shared their views regarding the project. Most of the participants agreed that functional Norwegian courses should be offered to those intending to immigrate to Norway while academic courses should be offered to the researchers and academicians who plan to visit Norway for higher studies.
