JI Gujrat Delegates Meet The Vice Chancellor

 

 

The district head of Jamaat Islami Gujrat Dr Tariq Saleem with a group of members and office bearers of the Women Wing met the Vice Chancellor, University of Gujrat, in his office here today at Hafiz Hayat Campus. They shared their views on the commencement of the Co education class for different academic disciplines at the UOG Women Colleges City. They express their reservation on the issue. The Vice Chancellor gave a patient hearing to the resentment of the delegation. The Vice Chancellor said that the administration of University of Gujrat will never commence co education classes at Marghzar College Campus. The Vice Chancellor said that his administration is the custodian of the social and religious norms and values of the society. He assured the delegation that the constituent campuses only are designated for women studies and the campus administration never intended co education classes at any girls campus in the city. On the VC’s assurance, the delegates thanked him and offered their cooperation while promoting the cause of education in Gujrat. The delegates who met the Vice Chancellor comprised of Mian Abdul Shakoor, Raja Sajid Shareef, Ms Rashida Sadaf, Ms Kalsoom Sarwar, Ms. Rafia Noor, Ms Misbah Maryam and Sadia Ashraf.
