Who in Pakistan 2008.”
Prof.
Dr. Muhammad Nizamuddin (Vice Chancellor, University of Gujrat) has
been graced the “Nineteenth Star Award 2008” and selected as the
“Man of the Year 2008” in the field of education in recognition of
his outstanding achievements. The award ascribing agency, South Asia
Publications also included the name of Vice Chancellor in the list
of “Who’s Who in Pakistan 2008.”
The Award donor agency selects the persons with outstanding
achievements from Pakistan in different field of life every year.
While selecting Prof. Dr. Muhammad Nizamuddin for the Star Award
2008, the agency termed his personality versatile genius engaged in
research and academic pursuits throughout his career mostly at
international level for more than 35 years.
While commenting on Dr. Nizam’s academic career, the agency termed
it very brilliant as he has won many prestigious scholarships
starting from University of Karachi to USAID fellowship.
Apart
from of explaining the outstanding contributions in the field of
demography and family planning in the United Nations as Senior
Advisor, his momentous role in establishing a world class university
was explained. Agency says that with miraculous traits of his
excellent administration and well versed in pedagogical issues, Prof.
Nizam established 14 Masters, 10 M.Phil and 22 under graduate programs
at the University of Gujrat.
With all his preoccupations he teaches post graduate classes as HEC
Foreign Faculty and enjoys an exceptionally high respect among his
students.
