UOG Contributions to Flood Victims
The University of Gujrat among all institutions of learning in the
country has played an unprecedented role in accumulating funds and
relief goods for the flood victims. This effort is a landmark
example for the public sector institutions to help government
managing the natural calamity. These views were shared by a renowned
literati and an educationist of the area Prof Syed Sabir Ali Shah
after meeting with the Vice Chancellor here today in his office at
Hafiz Hayat Campus. Prof Shah donated rupees ten thousand in the
fund raised for the rehabilitations of the flood affected people. He
urged the prosperous people of the area to donate money in the
campus fund to encourage the faculty and students who have
contributed for the cause of flood victims unprecedentedly.
