Sociology Department Leads a Procession at Hafiz Hayat
Campus in Protest Against the Brutal Murder at Sialkot
The brutal murder of two young brothers in Sialkot has shaken
the conscience of the whole nation. This shocking and
nerve-shattering event has laid bare hypocrisy, inhumanity,
ruthless exploitation and injustice rampant in our acquisitive
society and exposed the ugliness, corruption materialism that
has seeped into the inmost being of our decadent society.
University of Gujrat shares the misery, torture, excruciating
pain of the bereaved family, and condemns this heinous murder
with full force at its command. The students of UOG have taken a
commendable step in sharing the woe of the family members of the
murdered brothers, by raising voice against the in-human
perpetrators of this ordeal. This unfortunate event has polluted
the reputation of the entire nation, and is a blot on the clean
face of humanity. The UOG appeals to the authorities to execute
the relevant laws to bring the murderers to justice. These views
were expressed by Professor Dr Muhammad Nizamuddin Vice
Chancellor UOG while addressing a procession taken out by the
sociology Department of UOG, in protest against the violent
breach of law, oppression, torture and physical onslaught with
batons on two innocent, lawful young citizens leading to their
death. The brute-devils have set new inhuman record of brutality
and torture.

was led by associate director Dr Fauiza Maqsood with faculty
