The Holy Quran stresses the applied aspect
of the Islamic teachings. Unity, brotherhood, sacrifice and
tolerance are the pillars on which Islamic philosophy of human
society is based. Islamic teachings are the assets for the
Muslims. Following the Quranic teachings in any society can help
transforming it into modern, vibrant and practical society.
History witnesses of Muslim glory while leading the humanity in
different fields. Field of education the VC said is the quote
worthy sector in the Muslim history. He said that the Muslim of
that time led the common man of the world. These remarks were
passed while addressing the participants of the quiz competition
on “Seerat-e-Nabvi and Ramadan” organized by the Hayatian Quiz
Society here today at Nawaz Sarif Medical College (NSMC), Hafiz
Hayat Campus, the University of Gujrat.
Principal NSMC Prof Dr Nasir Aziz Kamboh is
the patron in chief of the Hayatians. Later the VC awarded
prizes and distributed certificates among the position holders.
Among prize winners Farzana from UOG Marghzar college campus
achieved 1st prize.
Second prize was clinched by Aamer form faculty of Law at UOG GT
Road College Campus. Third prize was received by Arifa from UOG
Marghzar college campus while 4th prize
was given to Aqib from Hafiz Hayat campus. Later Prof Nasir Aziz
presented shield to the Vice Chancellor.
