Seminars Lectures Series from Oct 14th

Norwegian Embassy to Setup Norwegian Language, Culture and Society Center

 

As per the University of Gujrat’s internationalization efforts of its academic agenda specially drawing attention to Norway and Scandinavia, it has decided to establish in collaboration with the Embassy of Norway a Center for Norwegian Language, Culture and Society here at Hafiz Hayat Campus. For the purpose it has organized a series of the weekly seminars about various aspects of the Norwegian society of general and academic interests. The seminar series will include orientation lecturers and discussions about various aspects of the Norwegian society. First lecture of series is going to start from Oct 14th Thursday at 14:00 to 16:00pm at Video Conferencing Hall, Academic Block. H.E Robert Kvile Norway Ambassador to Pakistan will be the chief guest. Mr Kvile will address a keynote address on salient aspects of Pakistani Norwegian collaboration. A social scientist at Oslo Atle Hetland will present a slideshow on Brief Introductions to Contemporary Norway. This inaugural session of the seminar series will be presided over by the Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Nizamuddin. He will welcome the guests and will deliver the inaugural address.
